Diagnosis:
Subatrophyc eye with clear and centered microcornea.
Enophthalmos and eyelid laxity not present but reduced conjunctival sac.
Surgery:
Patient underwent pars-plana vitrectomy and pediatric silicone oil tamponade in 2006. Silicone oil removal and corneo-scleral suture in 2008.
Prosthesis:
PMMA clear scleral shell fitting with shifted corneal curvature and toroidal scleral curvature to avoid intolerance. Fluorescein assessment.
Successive cosmetic hand-painted scleral shell fitting.
Results after 2 years from the first session.
