Diagnosis:
Subatrophic eye with clear, not-anesthetized and centered cornea.
Moderate eyelid retraction and reduced conjunctival sac.
Surgery:
Patient underwent scleral buckling and pars-plana vitrectomy without retinal reattachment in 1995.
Prosthesis:
PMMA clear scleral shell fitting with twin-shifted corneal curvature and scleral toroidal curvature to avoid intolerance. Fluorescein assessment.
Successive cosmetic painted scleral shell fitting.
Results after 11 years from the first session.
