Diagnosis:

Congenital microphthalmos with clear and centered cornea. Moderate eyelid retraction and​ reduced conjunctival sac. Visual acuity: light perception.

Surgery:

No surgery executed.

Prosthesis:

PMMA clear scleral shell fitting with corneal curvature. Fluorescein assessment.

Successive cosmetic hand-painted scleral shell fitting. Lens insertion to exploit maximum visual acuity. Lens removal after a few years because it was no longer needed for medical purposes

Results after 7 years from the first session.
